Enemies
Throughout Tupac's
life he had many beef's
with different people,
most of these people
were also in the media
spot light in some
form of way usually
fellow hip hop artists.
Tupac's attitude shifted
while in prison, I
guess Tupac realized
who his true friends
really was. Below
are some of Tupac's
enemies with more
information on each: |

Notorious
BIG
Probably
the beef that
will be associated
with Tupac in
a major way
forever, the
Biggie beef
which was hyped
in the media
as East vs West
all came about
when Tupac was
involved in
a shooting in
a New York recording
studio which
he believed
Biggie had some
involvement.
Tupac didn't
so much as say
Biggie had orchestrated
the attack but
he was sure
Biggie had some
knowledge on
the attack,
Tupac was disappointed
that Biggie
didn't help
him before or
after the attack.
But before this
incident Tupac
and Biggie were
actually good
friends with
Biggie referred
to Tupac as
'Duke' and Tupac
calling Biggie
'Christopher',
the pair rapped
together and
Tupac was thought
to have been
an influence
in Biggie's
rise to attention.
Tupac let Biggie
open for him
on a few occasions
and gave him
some spotlight,
Tupac believed
he showed nothing
but love for
Biggie and Biggie
didn't return
that when Tupac
was shot and
Biggie apparently
knew who was
behind the attack
but failed to
speak up. |

Puff
Daddy
Puffy owns
the New York
based record
label Bad Boy
and tried to
sign Tupac back
in 1994, Tupac
refused his
offer. Some
people believe
this refusal
might of lead
to the 1994
shooting because
Bad Boy was
said to have
been founded
by the New York
black Mafia
but this has
never been confirmed.
Puffy was present
in the building
in which the
1994 shooting
happened, Tupac
and Puffy gave
very different
accounts of
how each of
them reacted
on that night.
Puffy claimed
he was supportive
of Tupac while
waiting for
an ambulance,
Tupac said Puffy
was the opposite
standing back.
Puffy attempted
to reach out
to Tupac while
Tupac was in
prison but once
released Tupac
started dissing
Puffy, Puffy
was also an
enemy of rival
record label
owner Suge Knight. |

Dr
Dre
When Tupac
joined Deathrow
Records which
was co-founded
by Dr Dre and
Suge Knight
things between
Tupac and Dre
was cool, they
even collaborated
on the famous
track California
Love. However
Tupac grew angry
with Dre over
the Snoop murder
case in which
Dre was apparently
too busy to
support Snoop,
Dre was also
said to be taking
credit for work
he didn't do.
Tupac publicly
criticized Dre
and dissed him
on the track
Toss it up,
Dre never responded
on record to
Tupac and after
leaving Deathrow
created the
label Aftermath,
Deathrow continues
to diss Dre
and his label
mates. |

C.
Deloris Tucker
C. Deloris
Tucker was a
hard-core protester
against 'Gangsta
Rap' and was
always publicly
speaking about
her disagreement
with the lyrics
used. Tupac
was affected
by this and
thought that
she was wrong
in her actions
and made reference
to this in the
song 'Wonder
Why They Call
U Bitch' which
would go on
to cause Deloris
to sue the estate
of Tupac after
his death.
She was always
attempting to
get lyrics censored
and didn't really
succeed, some
say her interest's
in the censorship
was just a motive
to get involved
in the music
industry which
is a very lucrative
business. |

| |
| Other beefs Tupac
had include Mobb Deep
and Chino XL who Tupac
dissed on the track
Hit Em Up, Nas, Jay-Z
and LL Cool J who
all at some point
dissed or offended
Tupac on tracks. |
